Hiwi the Kiwi

Today in the morning my class and I went to the school hall to watch a show about Hiwi the Kiwi. I learn that if we pick up a fish we always have to use a wet towel, but we have to wet the towel with salt water. I also learn that we always have to take a ruler to measure the fish. We use a ruler to check if the fish was big enough. If the fish is too small that mean it can be a baby fish but if it to big that mean it can be a mother or father fish. We also sang some song. We sang a song called Kaimoana. Then the last song we sang was the seagull song. If we got a question right the man called us to come on the stage. Then the Minstrals gave the people that went on the stage magazines, posters and sticker. My favourite part was when Mr. Minstral called us to come on stage to get a prize. That's my favourite part because Mr. Minstral always mock us and called us funny name.

Today we write a story about Hiwi the kiwi. Here is a picture of me dancing.
