Then and Than

Than or Then.

My sister is nicer than my brother.
My handwriting is better than  my friend.
My friend is funnier  than me.
My mum is meaner than  my dad.
My sister is prettier than  me.
My sister and I drew pictures then we play dress up.
My family and I went to the  movie then  we to bed.
My mum went to work then she came home angry.
My sister was happy before but  then  she came home
angry.
My brother and I went to the basketball court then  we
went back home.

We wrote sentences to show when to use Then, and when to use Than.

The moon travels around earth in an oval orbit at 3680 kilometres per hour. The moon does not have an  atmosphere. Temperature is a constant-184 degree celsius during its night to 214 degrees celsius. The moon is actually a little lopsided. The light areas are highlands. The dark areas are composed of basalt. When you look at the moon you will see light and dark areas.                                             Rosalili

We practised our notetaking and notemaking skills to write this paragraph.

Patupaiarhe.

We read the story of Patupaiarehe and found where the story came from.

I left my backpack over there by the door.
This means the bag is in a place, over there.

I’m not sure if they’re planning to come to the park with us.
This means they are not coming to the park.

I can’t wait to see their new pets.

This means the pet belongs to them.
