DAY 5: AGAINST THE ODDS

Three things that are important to me.

Family - because without a family I wouldn't have a house or their would be no one to help me with school works.

School - Without school I wouldn't know anything and it helps me to speak English properly.

Having a good report - I choose having a good report because it shows your parent how hard you been working threw our the year.


This was our first activity for day 5. For this activity we have to choose three important things in our life and he have to give a reason why those three things are important to our life.

Activity 3 - Worth her Weight in Gold

 

This was our third activity for day 4. For this activity we have to Imagine that we were travelling to a new country and we have to do a poster about what we would do and go to when we are in that country.

Activity 3: Achieving our Dreams

My dream job is being a doctor. I would like my dad to help me because he gives me good advice about being a good doctor and my dad always inspired me to be a doctor. If my dad was gonna help me be a doctor I think he could help me study and give me good advice about what a doctor does.

This was our third activity for day 3. For this activity we have to tell our dream job, and we also have to tell who we picked to help us to achieved our dream job. Then we wrote how the person we pick can help.

Activity 2: Defying the Odds

I would rather interview Steve Adams and I would ask him this 3 question.

1.   How did you end up being a big basketball star?

2.  How long did it take for you to become a big basketball star?

3.  How many times did your basketball team won?


This was our second activity for day 3. For this activity we picked have to pick out of Steve Adams and LeBron James and I picked  Steve Adams. Then we have to pretend to interview one of them and we have to ask three question to one of the athlete we pick.

This was our 1 activity for day 3. We choose three power and why we picked it and what we do with it.

Activity 2: What’s in a Name?

I would changed my name to Joanne because to me I think it is a unique name and I always liked to be called Joanne. 

This was our second activity and for this activity we changed our name and we had to explained why we picked that name. 

DAY 4: INDIVIDUAL PURSUITS

This was my first activity for day 4. For this activity we had to do 3 facts about what we learned about the video we watched. I picked Serena Williams because she is my favourite tennis player, and she is a great athlete. 

Samoa Background

This was our second activity for day 1, and for this activity we wrote about our culture. First we wrote about where we came from and where I we were born. Then we talk the tradition in our culture. The last slide was facts about Samoa.

Actvity 3 : Scaling New Heights

SPCA stands for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The SPCA in an organisation that rescue and helps animal.

This was our third activity for day 1. We picked one charity and I choose the SPCA . For our charity activity we had to explain what our charity do. 

List 10 Food For my Voyages

This week was our first activity for day 1. For this activity we picked 10 food that we could take on the boat. Then we wrote why we picked the food and we put a picture of the food and the attribution. We imagine that Nainoa invited us to at sea for 3 weeks.

                                 This was our third activity and we made up our own words, and we made our words creative.

Today we did our second summer learning journey activity and for this summer learning journey activity we wrote our own pepeha. I used my own language to write my pepeha.

This was our first Summer Learning Journey activity of the teaser week and it was about Lorde. We went online and researched facts and information about Lorde. We also searched online for pictures of and found attributions.
