Space Art

I drew a picture of a moon and I also drew different tips of circle in the moon. Then I shaded the little circle using my fingers. When my moon was done I used dye to colour the coffee fitters, I used hot and cold colours. Then I used big, small and medium circles to cut out circles from the coffee fitters. When all of that was done my teacher cut out a black cardboard paper and then we splashed white paint all over the black cupboard paper to make stars. Then we glued all of the circles and the moon on the black cardboard paper.

Rhythm Interactive

Straight after morning tea we went to the hall to play drums. There was a man called Johnny who was teaching us how to play the drums. Johnny said to us that together we can make a change. I learnt that the drums that the school was using was called Djembe and the drum that Johnny was using was called Djembe. Johnny  said that he is going to play a instrument and if we get the name of the instrument right we get to keep 7 drums.

Hiwi the Kiwi

Today in the morning my class and I went to the school hall to watch a show about Hiwi the Kiwi. I learn that if we pick up a fish we always have to use a wet towel, but we have to wet the towel with salt water. I also learn that we always have to take a ruler to measure the fish. We use a ruler to check if the fish was big enough. If the fish is too small that mean it can be a baby fish but if it to big that mean it can be a mother or father fish. We also sang some song. We sang a song called Kaimoana. Then the last song we sang was the seagull song. If we got a question right the man called us to come on the stage. Then the Minstrals gave the people that went on the stage magazines, posters and sticker. My favourite part was when Mr. Minstral called us to come on stage to get a prize. That's my favourite part because Mr. Minstral always mock us and called us funny name.

Today we write a story about Hiwi the kiwi. Here is a picture of me dancing.
