Word Cline - Tall
Today in writing did a word Cline activity and we picked any word like fast, slow, big, small. I picked Happy.
The Surprised Mouse
The Surprised Mouse
courtesy of Valery Subachev, One Big Photo.
Slowly and cautiously he raised his small curious face, just
like he does every morning. One day he came out of his mouse
home and he went to the mouse restaurant. When he finished
he came out of the restaurant he was surprised and scared of
what he saw. He saw a gigantic cat licking his lips ready to eat
the little mouse. But then the mouse ran as fast as he could,
the cat also tried to catch the mouse but the cat was too fat
and tired and could not catch the mouse. So the mouse was
safe and happy in his little tiny home.

Finding Their Way
Today in class we looked for interesting words in our books. Then we wrote 5 words on a google drawing and found the meaning of that word. I also included a picture to go with the words.

The Unwritten
The Unwritten
Inside this box
Hunch taonga that never been discovered
Never been seen
Never been mention
They’re hiding
They’re scared in there
Dark in dark
Listening to us
But they won’t come out
Not for singing not for writing not for reading.
Even when the box has gone rusty
They’ll still be there
Sleeping away
Crowds of people and days to come
Dreaming of them
Be none the wiser
What treasure can it be
That they won’t show
In what treasure
Would I know it
Would I be ready to find it
To make out the real treasure
Of everything
Maybe there aren’t many
It could be that there's only one treasure
And it's all we need
It’s here in this box
Every box in the world is like this
